Experience Requirements
2 years of active full-time experience within the last 4 years as a Nevada real estate salesperson
Alternative Pathways:
- Experience credit for education: 2 years = 16 credits, 4 years = 32 credits, 6 years = 48 credits, 8 years = 64 credits
Experience must be within the past 10 years. Submit Form 509 for experience verification.
Education Requirements
64 semester college credits required. Broker Management (45 hours) and Nevada Law (18 hours) cannot be waived. Other requirements may be satisfied with licensed experience.
Required Courses:
- 45 hours Broker Management (Nevada-specific, required)
- 18 hours Nevada Real Estate Law (required)
- 15 hours Contracts in Real Estate Transactions
- 15 hours Agency Relationships
- 45 hours Real Estate Law (or licensed experience)
- 45 hours Real Estate Appraisal (or licensed experience)
For every 2 years of licensed experience, 16 college credits may be waived (except Broker Management and Nevada Law).
