Experience Requirements
Continuously licensed and employed full-time as a NJ real estate salesperson for 3 years immediately preceding application
Alternative Pathways:
- Disabled US veterans who are NJ citizens may qualify for experience waiver
Must submit completed experience report verifying employment history.
Education Requirements
Complete 150 hours of pre-licensing education covering real estate fundamentals, ethics, agency relationships, and brokerage operations.
Required Courses:
- 90-hour General Real Estate Course (principles and practices)
- 30-hour Agency/Ethics Course
- 30-hour Office Management and Related Topics Course
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
