Experience Requirements

2 years as licensed salesperson with 3,500 experience points, OR 3 years equivalent real estate experience with 5,250 points

Points Required: 3,500 experience points

Alternative Pathways:

  • 3 years general real estate experience with 5,250 points
  • Combined licensed and general experience with 5,250 points

Points calculated from transactions, property management, development activities. Buying/selling own property has limited credit.

Education Requirements

Complete 152 hours of DOS-approved qualifying education including the 75-hour broker course.

Required Courses:

  • 75-hour Broker Qualifying Course
  • 45-hour Salesperson Course (if not already completed)
  • 30-hour Salesperson Remedial Course
  • 2-hour Fair Housing/Implicit Bias Training
