Experience Requirements

3 years as licensed salesperson with 200 activity points documented

Points Required: 200 experience points

Alternative Pathways:

  • 3 years equivalent real estate experience
  • Combination of education and experience

Must provide detailed resume of activities and sworn statement from employing broker.

Education Requirements

Complete 240 hours (16 credits) of professional real estate education approved by the Commission.

Required Courses:

  • 30 hours Brokerage and Office Management
  • 30 hours Broker Law
  • 90 hours Commission-developed courses (law, finance, investment, etc.)
  • 90 hours additional real estate-related courses

Law degree or bachelor's in real estate may satisfy requirements. Education must be within 10 years of exam.
