Experience Requirements

4 years active experience as licensed agent within last 5 years with 360 experience points

Points Required: 360 experience points

Experience points increasing to 720 under new rules. Points documented via transaction reports.

Education Requirements

Total 900 education hours required. Bachelor's degree satisfies 630 hours of related education.

Required Courses:

  • 270 hours Qualifying Education (same as salesperson: Principles I & II, Agency, Contracts, Promulgated Forms, Finance)
  • 30 hours Real Estate Brokerage (within 2 years of application)
  • 630 hours Related Education (or bachelor's degree equivalent)

Broker Responsibility Course now required for all broker applicants.
