36 months of full-time experience (average 40 hours per week) as a licensed real estate salesperson

Experience must be verified by Principal or Supervising Broker.

Education Requirements

Complete 180 hours of broker-specific and broker-related courses. Each course must be at least 45 hours with monitored final exam.

Required Courses:

  • Real Estate Brokerage course (45 hours)
  • Real Estate Appraisal (45 hours)
  • Real Estate Finance (45 hours)
  • Real Estate Law (45 hours)
  • Or substitute broker-related courses

Principles course from salesperson education cannot count toward broker requirements.
