Listed fees: application $90 + first combined exam $81 + in-state screening $60.75 = $231.75. Excludes pre-licensing and 45-hour post-license coursework and E&O insurance, so this is not a complete startup cost.

License Renewal

12 CE hours annually, including any LREC mandatory topic(s). Renewal season runs August 1 - September 30. Standard renewal is $77 excluding independently purchased E&O; an optional LREC group-policy renewal package is about $219 when it bundles E&O.

License Reciprocity

Resident applicants who hold the same license type in AL, AR, CO, GA, IA, MS, NM, OK, or PA may qualify for a reciprocal pathway. Conditional eligibility rules apply; contact info@lrec.gov.
