24 months active experience as licensed sales associate within last 5 years
No transaction requirement. Experience from other states accepted. Must have completed sales associate post-licensing education.

Rule 61J2-1.011 sets a $72 base renewal fee; DBPR appears to add a $5 charge (about $77), which was not confirmed, so the renewal amount is not certified.
Post-License Requirement: 60 hours required. Required before the first renewal; otherwise the broker license becomes null and void (a sales associate license is available by completing 14 hours of CE within 6 months)
Reciprocity Agreements
Mutual recognition applies to non-residents licensed in these states (not by reciprocity there): pass a 40-question Florida law exam (30 correct to pass) instead of the full exam. Alabama and Arkansas broker applicants also need 24 months licensed within the preceding 5 years. Out-of-state broker experience can count toward Florida's experience requirement.
