Experience Requirements
4 years as active real estate licensee, with 2 of those years immediately preceding application

Certified License History documents required showing active/inactive status.
Education Requirements
Complete 150 hours of broker pre-licensing education from an LREC-certified school. Real Estate 202 (30 hours) is mandatory and cannot be substituted.
Required Courses:
- Real Estate 202 (30 hours) - Louisiana Real Estate License Law, Commission Rules/Regulations, Law of Agency, and Civil Law - mandatory
- Additional broker education courses (120 hours)
Up to 120 hours completed in another jurisdiction may be credited. Must receive approval for out-of-state coursework before applying.
