Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience as a licensed salesperson or associate broker employed by a real estate business
Alternative Pathways:
- Part-time equivalent under Broker Applicant Hardship Provision
Must have high school diploma, GED, or homeschool documentation.
Education Requirements
Complete 180 hours of NREC-approved pre-licensing education (6 courses). If already licensed as salesperson, complete two additional 30-hour courses.
Required Courses:
- Six 30-hour pre-licensing courses (180 hours total)
- Two additional 30-hour courses beyond salesperson requirements
- Course #0003 - 6-hour Developing Professional Conduct & Ethical Practices (if not completed for salesperson license)
Cannot repeat a pre-licensing course used for salesperson license.
