Fee Breakdown

Listed fees include the $50 application, $50 issuance, $52 exam, and MREC-published $40.50 fingerprint charge. Confirm the current vendor charge and any fingerprint exemption. Education and other provider costs are additional.

License Renewal

12 hours every two years, including at least three CORE hours. The 2026–2028 renewal period requires an approved Fair Housing CORE course.

License Reciprocity

Applicants holding a current active real estate license in another jurisdiction must pass the Missouri state salesperson examination, complete the 24-hour Missouri Real Estate Practice course, and provide a license-history certification issued within three months.
